Lay 7 orange segments (B) onto one of the orange skins (A) to check their placement.
Pin and sew one segment at a time, right side up. Complete all seven segments.
Repeat steps 7 & 9 with the other side of the orange.
Place the two wrong sides of the orange together, with one end of the ribbon sandwiched between the oranges and pin together.
Topstitch (straight sew) around the two pieces and reverse over the ribbon to ensure the stitching is strong.
Hand sew one side of the press stud onto the orange piece, and the other side of the press stud onto the end of the ribbon.
Sewing the Lime:
Lay 2 of the ½ lime segments (D) onto one of the lime skins (C) and 2 of the lime segments (E) to check their placement, with the 2 E segments in the middle.
Pin and sew one segment at a time, right side up. Complete all 4 segments.
Repeat steps 11 & 12 with the other side of the lime.
Place the two wrong sides of the lime together, with one end of the ribbon sandwiched between the oranges and pin together.
Topstitch (straight sew) around the two pieces and reverse over the ribbon to ensure the stitching is strong.
Hand sew one side of the press stud onto the orange piece, and the other side of the press stud onto the end of the ribbon.
Now hang them from your backpack, suitcase or anywhere that needs some tang!

Handy Tips:
Instead of press studs you could try a button and button hole.
You can also buy Snap Fasteners with a tool so you won’t need to hand sew them on!
